OUR STORY

Bura hosts annual in-person teambuilding events to ensure that we remain a close-knit and effective team despite living all over the world.

Bura was founded in 2021 by Dáire Bohan (daireb) and Andrija Ivančan (WisdomClock), two passionate game developers with a vision to create memorable and unique experiences on Roblox.

Early Days - Polaris Studios

Our journey began in 2018 with Dáire's first commercial project: Runners' Path. Needing an artist, he posted on the old Roblox forum, and Andrija quickly responded. Though Andrija chose to focus on his own project, Dashing Simulator, the pair recognized their complementary skills and hit it off immediately.

In 2019, they teamed up to found Polaris Studios and released the hit game Wizard Simulator, which peaked at over 40,000 concurrent users and reached the #2 spot on Roblox. Encouraged by their success, they released Pet Heroes in 2020 to even greater acclaim, and began working with freelancers to push the games' quality even further.

Challenges and Growth

Due to personal circumstances, daireb and WisdomClock had to part ways in late 2020. During this time, daireb released Anime Fighters Simulator, achieving huge commercial and critical success. This success laid the foundation for Anime Champions Simulator's design, and provided the funding needed to expand operations and found Bura.

Today - Bura Games

In 2021, Dáire and Andrija reuinted to found Bura Games, with a mission to bring creative people together to grow and create amazing games. Searching Roblox for the most talented and passionate creators, we have amassed an amazing team who can tackle any game development challenge.

Under Bura, we launched Anime Training Simulator and Anime Champions Simulator, with over a quarter of a billion plays so far.

daireb - Dáire

Acting as both CEO and CTO, Dáire handles technical development and corporate duties at Bura.

WisdomClock - Andrija

Our resident art genius, Andrija acts as Chief Design Officer at Bura, ensuring that our games reach the quality we expect.

oTrademark - Trent

A veteran gamer and youtuber with over 150k subscribers, Trent ensures we remain aligned with our passionate community.

VisualUltra - Josip

Josip is our head 3d modeler and world designer and works with Andrija to ensure the quality of the worlds we create.

TB_Glitch - Chris

Chris is our lead animator and ensures that the abilities and cutscenes in our games are the best on Roblox.

Bebee2

Bebee2 is our second scripter, and works hard to bring new features and optimisations out in every update.

Nycto_Phobiac - Alif

Alif is head of our VFX team, and works to keep our abilities and effects one step ahead of the competition.

Code_ABU - Mu'ath

Mu'ath is our resident VFX expert. Alongside Alif, he designs the particles and abilities in our games.

OUR EXPERIENCE

With over 50 years of combined experience, and having worked on over 25 released games totalling more than 45 billion plays, the team at Bura is one of the most experienced on Roblox. Aside from the projects directly released by Polaris Studios and Bura, our team members have worked on some of the biggest games on the platform.

Dáire is the owner, designer, and scripter of the hit game Anime Fighters Simulator, which was the #1 engaging game on Roblox in 2021, and has amassed 1.25B+ plays to date.

Alif was the VFX lead on the project, and together the pair pushed Anime Fighters to the peak of Roblox.

Mu'ath is the VFX lead for Blade Ball (3.5B+ plays) and has designed many of the highest rarity blades and abilities in the game.

Chris designed many of the complex weapon and ability animations contributing to the success of Blox Fruits (33B+ plays).

Andrija was the map designer and art director for Project Pokémon (250m+ plays), and Bebee2 was its technical architect.

Alif worked to develop many of the iconic character abilities in All Star Tower Defense (7.2B+ plays).

Dáire worked as a technical consultant on all Shyfoox Studios games, including Dragons' Life (480m+ plays) and the Wolves' Life franchise (230m+ plays).
